legend Jamie Carragher feels Jon Flanagan deserves an England cap.
The defender didn't even make the England U21 squad during the last international week.
Carragher wrote in the Daily Mail: "England are well stocked for full backs but if something were to happen to Glen Johnson
or Kyle Walker, Flanagan should be the first port of call. He is more than just someone who can make a tackle and he is versatile, uses the ball well and is growing in confidence."

Delph admits the supporters haven't had too much to shout about.
He said: "When I signed for the club we were challenging for sixth spot so, yes, I can understand the frustration. It's a massive club.
"If I was sitting in the stands I'd be screaming, 'Delph, what are you doing?' as well.
"But they've stuck with us, we've got a great fan base. It's nice to able to send them home with a smile on their faces for once."
