The Frenchman is still confident new faces will arrive.
Despite having made just one transfer this summer – Yaya Sanogo on a free – Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists that more signings are coming.

Gunners fans have begun to get impatient at the lack of new arrivals at the club, with Gonzalo Higuain, Bernard and seemingly Luis Suarez and Luiz Gustavo having passed by.
But Wenger is remaining upbeat about the chances of bringing in some quality acquisitions.
“We are active,” the 63-year-old told the club’s website.
“We are in a situation like Manchester United, like Chelsea, where everybody expects signings and at the moment not a lot has happened.
“There are 18 days to go, so that is a long time in the transfer market and we will be active.
“I cannot certify what the number [of players coming in will be] but we will be active until the end, that is for sure.”
Last season Wenger’s men only just scraped into the Champions League places ahead of north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur by one point, with Spurs since buying in plenty of new talent.
Tottenham have signed Roberto Soldado, Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and Etienne Capoue for a combined total of £59m.
This fact will not have helped Arsenal supporters, who have seen several players depart the Emirates Stadium; including Gervinho, Andrey Arshavin and Marouane Chamakh, but no big names having come in as yet to replace them.
Whether or not Wenger stays true to his word remains to be seen, but it looks highly unlikely any deals will be completed before the start of the new Premier League season – when Arsenal host Aston Villa on Saturday.
