striker Robin van Persie was happy to see Diego Maradona at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Maradona had been given VIP tickets by United for him and his entourage to watch the clash with Liverpool
from the directors' box.
Van Persie said: "Maradona was my childhood hero and I must have watched every video there is about him and seen all his goals. I met him for the first time just over two years ago in Dubai when I was on holiday. He's a very special person and was an unbelievable player."
