Tristan Bowen has taken to twitter to apologise for his actions in Chivas USA’s 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids, when he was sent off for spitting on Rapids defender Chris Klute. Bowen was one of three sending offs in the match, Chivas’ Gabriel Farfan also being dismissed for a stamp on Shane O’Neill while Colorado’s Tony Cascio saw red for two bookings.
