Johor Darul Takzim’s preparations for the Malaysia Cup were dented after they were beaten 2-0 by Perth Glory in a friendly on Wednesday.
The Southern Tigers’ first warm-up match for the tournament, which begins on August 20, didn’t exactly go to plan after their Australian winners strolled to a routine victory at the Larkin Stadium, courtesy of a first half penalty from captain Steven McGarry and Ndumba Makeche’s final minute header.
